Fred W. "Pete" Peters, Jr.

Mr. Peters has more than twenty five years experience as an information management and information technology professional. In the past five years he has led Inverness Technologies from a start-up company to a company with Global presence, providing IT Consulting services, Superior Project Management capabilities, Full spectrum of Training capabilities as well as every known aspect of IT services. During his career he has achieved recognition by clients and colleagues as a talented technical innovator, a successful program manager, and highly effective team leader. He combines entrepreneurial vision with a manager's scrupulous attention to detail, and excels at delivering low cost practical solutions to complex challenges. As a senior manager in the Military Health System, he pioneered Web site development for the world's largest HMO, introduced low bandwidth video teleconferencing to improve the system's global management structure, and created the first Information Assurance Program, which serves as a model for Department of Defense databases and information technologies. Prior to founding Inverness Technologies, he directed a professional staff of 300, providing cutting edge IT solutions to healthcare providers, institutions, and financial intermediaries, and managed an annual budget of $50 million. He is a nationally renowned speaker on a full range of IT topics such as a full range of emerging technologies and innovative management approaches (e.g., seat management, knowledge management, procurement alternatives, and outsourcing).

Mr. Peters has a Master's Degree in Management from Troy State University and a Bachelor of Science in Business from Southern Illinois University. He is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives, a member of the USAA Advisory Panel, and a Senior Member in the Health Information Management Systems Society (HIMSS). Mr. Peters is the recipient of several accolades and awards that include Chief Information Officer (CIO) of the Year for the United States Air Force Medical Service.

Colonel Fred V. Cherry

Inverness Technologies is pleased to announce that Colonel Fred V. Cherry has joined the Inverness Team. Colonel Cherry is a retired U.S. Air Force fighter pilot who served in Korea and Vietnam. Colonel Cherry spent over seven years as a prisoner of war in Hanoi. He retired as one of the most distinguished and decorated veterans of the Vietnam War, with over 35 medals.

After his retirement from the military, Colonel Cherry has become a recognized leader in the business world by developing multiple business initiatives into multi-million dollar successful enterprises. Colonel Cherry's major success factor is his unique ability to stay focused on customer needs and requirements while delivering unparalleled quality work.
