Technologies Supports the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense
for Personnel and Readiness

Inverness Technologies was awarded a contract to provide the Office of the Under
Secretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness (OUSD-P&R) with a collaborative,
secure, web-based tool to manage its critical information resources. Inverness
will provide a full range of support, including hosting the application environment,
designing the collaborative work space, managing content, providing system and
database administration, training users, and providing on-call support to respond
to user questions.
Collaborative Office Environment (COE) is a tool that is web-based,
secure, accessible anywhere, and easy to use. Functionality of COE
includes, but is not limited to, voting, polling, online collaboration,
white boarding, drag-and-drop capability, online chat, user identification,
and version control of documents. COE is a state-of-the-art software
tool that allows large organizations to better manage their information,
intellectual capital, and human resources. This tool will support several
major initiatives in OUSD-P&R, including the Senior Advisors to
the Iraqi Ministry of Education who are assisting with the reconstruction
of the Iraqi school system.
