Inverness Showcases Innovative Technologies
at 2004 TRICARE Conference
January 29, 2004
Inverness Technologies was a key participant at the 2004 TRICARE
Conference at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel. This year's conference
theme, "World-class, Worldwide. Celebrating a Decade of Military
Service", drew an estimated 3,000 people.

The 2004 TRICARE Conference focused on the critical transition
now underway for the next generation of TRICARE contracts and incorporated
the vital contributions of military readiness. Inverness showcased
three of its technology innovation services that can help solve
some of the issues associated with peacetime managed care and military
medical readiness:
- Our Internal Network Content Security (INCS) service, which
can substantially reduce non-work related network activity and
essentially eliminate HIPAA violations, was of particular interest
to the TRICARE functional community, including Service Surgeons
General, Managed Care Support Contractors, and Lead Agents.
- Our Collaborative Office Environment (COE), originally championed
within the TRICARE Management Activity by Vice Admiral Cowan,
U.S. Navy Surgeon General, was demonstrated as a way to enable
geographically dispersed teams to work together more efficiently
and effectively, through the Internet, anywhere and anytime.
- Our Intelligent Desktop Management (IDM) service sparked the
interest of the technical community, including Service and facility
Chief Information Officers (CIOs) due to the substantial reduction
level of effort and cost resulting from IDM use.
Inverness Technologies provides comprehensive solutions to support
organizational needs, ranging from security, to network management,
to maintenance, to collaboration. We examine technologies and strategies
from technical, functional, and total cost of ownership (TCO) aspects
to ensure our solutions fully meet our client's needs. For additional
