Technologies Teams with SNA to Assist the Louisiana State Police
in the 2005 Hurricane DNA Identification Project.

Inverness Technologies is proud to announce it has teamed with Sozer,
Niezgoda & Associates (SNA) to provide management, business process
management and consulting services to the Louisiana State Police who
is assisting the Department of Health and Hospitals through a Cooperative
Endeavor Agreement for the DNA Identification of the unidentified
victims of Hurricane Katrina.
The Katrina Hurricane of 2005 is considered one of the worst natural
disasters in the history of the United States. In the aftermath
of the hurricane, a key concern for the State of Louisiana and Mississippi
is to care for the needs of the remaining survivors, especially
concerning the identification of the remains of their next of kin
who perished in the disaster. Successful management and execution
of the 2005 Hurricane Katrina DNA Identification Project will be
key to achieving the State of Louisiana’s goal of providing
humanitarian services to the people of Louisiana and other states
by reuniting families with the remains of their relatives who died
as victims of Katrina.
SNA - Inverness Technologies team has the understanding, past experience,
and expertise required to help the Louisiana State Police on topics
such as Project Management, Business Process Management, Family
Coordination and Liaison, Informatics and Information Technology,
Sample Tracking and Management, Sample Analysis, Identification
Management, Procurement and Vendor Management, and Quality Control.
SNA - Inverness Technologies team will play an integral part in
ensuring the success of this highly visible 2005 Hurricane DNA Identification
Project.
