Technologies Assists in Developing Training Curriculum for the International
Training Institute

Inverness Technologies teams up with Didactics in support of the International
Training Institute (ITI) serving the members of the Sheet Metal Worker’s
International Association (SMWIA) and the Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning
Contractors’ National Association (SMACNA). ITI conducts its
training through 170 local, jointly funded Joint Apprenticeship &
Training Committees (JATCs) in the United States and Canada. It offers
courses through a national network of instructors, inspectors and
regional personnel.
Inverness will provide technical writing support in the development
of a training curriculum for apprentices and journeymen sheet metal
workers. The focus for Inverness will be content research and development
of basic knowledge and hands-on skills required for Heating, Ventilation,
and Air Conditioning (HVAC) installation, retrofitting and servicing
for residential homes.
